A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

New Direction


I have been sick most of last week.  This really threw me off the mental track I was on with P90X.  It's ok, because I have been getting back on track doing a little bit of Turbo Jam!  Its nice to have a fun workout to turn  to when you don't feel 100% and can't really Bring It with the normal intensity of the X!  

Turbo Jam has been great!  Its been getting my heart rate up, its been a fun working on my coordination!  And, I always forget how great  that program works your abs!  Its all about proper form!  But with good form, and the hand weights for a little more, that is a wonderful workout!  It never seems to fail to get me back in the groove!

But, after thinking about my goals and my schedule for the next month, I've decided to take a short break from Tony!  I love Tony!  But, at times I think he takes some mental thought to keep me going!  I am in the mind set of Christmas!  A ton to do, shopping, cleaning, decorating, parties,... that I need something to just do!  Nothing that requires a ton of brain power, I really want a workout I can go through the motions with.  I also determined I want to work on really slim my thighs!  Ok, not fat, but not where I want them to be.

Based on my schedule and my goals, I am going to take my workouts in a new direction.  I plan on doing at least 2 weeks of my favorite person for slimming thighs!  Debbie and Burn it up!  She is perfect for the mindless workout that you just do!  And boy she knows how to work that problem area- butt, thighs, abs!  So, I will turn my attention away from Tony for a few weeks and focus on Burn it Up with Debbie!  If I need my Tony Fix, I will through in one of his One on One workouts for  day!  I am so waiting for the Christmas Special workout due in December!  If you have not heard, if you subscribe to the One on One workouts, you will be getting a bonus video in December.  Its Tony working out with his elf friends.    I've seen previews and it looks pretty, ummm, different and fun!  So, keep an eye out for it!
