About Me

My photo
A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

Another day

I have to say, something has really hit our house. Both my husband and I have complained how exhausted we have been lately!  Like when you just want to sleep all the time.  I guess its all part of the fast and crazy world we live in.  Everything goes full force that you really never have time to stop.

For me, its been really hard.  I've been hitting the snooze button way to many times to get my workout in, which means I have to push them to after work.  Ok, so I know if I could just get up and bring it in the morning, I would have more energy during the day.  But, at the moment my alarm goes off, hitting the snooze is just soo much easier!

Ok, so after a long day I still manage to push play and get my workout in.  I have also been really focused on taking my vitamins!  I figured, maybe if I am so tired lately its possible that I'm lacking some nutrient!  I know its been helping, at least a little bit.  I also just got my chocolate Shakeology!  So, I will start tonight and take it once a day!  I know it will only help my body.  I know this drink is filled with a few things I have been missing.

So, all I can say, is if I stay focused on my workouts, keep taking my vitamins, add in my Shakeology, and look at my diet, and of course make sure to get adequate time to sleep, my life will get back to normal!  Spring is around the corner, and I refuse to be a walking zombie!
