About Me

My photo
A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

Raffling away a P90X, Chalean Extreme or Inanity!

I'm running a raffle to give away a copy of P90X, Insanity or ChaLean Extreme!

Anyone who donates $5 to support my Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraising cause in the month of October (up to Oct. 30) will be entered into a random drawing to win a copy of one of our favorite programs. I will offer 1 raffle ticket for every $5 of donations you make. So if you donate $20, you get 4 chances to win. The drawing will be held on October 31st!

What do you have to lose, you can win a program of your choice and you can also know that all proceeds of your donation will go to helping find a cure for blood cancers!

How is my training going? I'm officially running the Baltimore 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles) next weekend. This is my first step to reaching my goal of running a full marathon in January! As I reach my half way goal of my run, I'm almost 1/2 way to reaching my fundraising goal of $3800! I'd like to see this goal far succeeded, and I can only do that with your help! I know times are tough, but that is why I am offering a raffle. For $5 a ticket, you can make a difference and you can even win a great workout program!

To make your donation today, simple visit my website. My website will give you more information about Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It will also have a link to the official donation page.

Thank you for all your support!
Heather
