About Me

My photo
A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

Day 28, P90X Results

June 28, 2008

I'm nearing my 30 day mark for P90X.  Which means it's time to update my pictures and see my current where I am at in my current transformation process.  I am probably the most critical person when it comes to seeing my changes.  I look at these current pictures and really notice nothing.  Yet, I share these with friends and coach who say WOW, you have totally toned up and tightened.  They immediately notice the differences.   This is one reason I believe sharing your pictures with your family, spouse or coach help you be a little less critical of yourself.  Because, as you do move forward, there will be changes and you seeing yourself in the mirror everyday are less then likely to notice these changes.  But, once you show them off to your friends, they will point out the transformation in your body!

Also remember, change is going to happen one day at a time.  So, keep moving forward and day by day you will achieve your goals!  Results do come if you stay focused and trust the process!

Now, it's time to move into Phase 2 of the X and see where that takes my body transformation too.
