About Me

A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

Just getting started!

It's been a long time since I mentioned this information, and want to repeat it!  Also, this is a reminder, there is a lot of great tips posted on my blog.  You may need to go back to the archives to find it.

If you are just starting a new program, then what what do you need to do to get the best results possible?
  • Read all the materials that came with the program.  Remember, even after you start, it's a great reference to go back and re-read it!
  • Take your measurements.  Where do you measure?  We recommend the following, you can add more:  Chest, waist, belly, thighs, calves, biceps (flexed), hips, butt.
  • Take your before pictures.  Yes, we all hate doing this. But, it is a milestone to see where things are changing, even if the scale is not moving.
  • Register for WOWY!  It helps keep you accountable, and why not take a chance to win!
  • Drink your 9 glasses of water a day!
  • Take your multi-vitamin!
  • Get an I CAN AND I WILL ATTITUDE!
  • If a Million Dollar Club Member, check out your daily calorie needs!Throw away all the junk food in the house and restock your fridge with healthy choices!
  • Post your meal plans on the message boards or email your coach.  Let them review it and help get you started on the right track!  Don't take any feedback as an insult, only as suggestions to help you succeed!
  • Check into the message boards for daily support and accountability!  I'm online all the time, so pop in and say hi!  Just click here!
  • After you take your initial measurements, HIDE your scale!  You can bring it out at the end of your rotation when it's time to take your after pictures/measurements!
  • PUSH PLAY 6 DAYS A WEEK!
  • Keep in contact with your coach!  They will help you every step of your journey!  If you would like me to coach you, just click here.  Remember, its free!
Now, all you need to do is MAKE THE DECISION, COMMIT TO DOING YOUR PROGRAM AND YOU WILL SUCCEED!
