About Me

A little about me. In my normal life, I am a civil engineer who sits behind a desk everyday. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2006. Since meeting him and our many days of eating out and less working out, my weight started to creep up. In August 2007 my girlfriend wanted to get back in shape after her pregnancy. She talked me into running weekly with her. I agreed, and this began my plan to get my body back in shape. I wanted to add some additional workouts to my run, so I pulled out my old Slim in 6 videos. At the same time, I re-found the online message boards at Beachbody where I meet a lot of great people who kept me committed to my fitness goals. I also found a great coach who was there everyday to help me stay on track! Today, I'm still working to sculpt my body and get it into the best shape ever. As I have progressed through my body's transition, I decided to become an Independent Beachbody Coach to help others reach their fitness goals! I realized it was easier then I thought, and I really believe others can change their lives too!

Changing Day by Day!

Ahh, love how working out prepares you for life!

I took a few days off and went skiing with my family up at Stowe, VT.  It was a great trip!  The weather was cold, but not unbearable!  The skiing, was just fabulous!

I have to say, after 30 days of Chalean Extreme, I was so ready to hit the slopes!  Chalean Extreme really had me fit and ready to go.  All her leg work had my legs strong to push myself everyday.  All the cardio I was doing had me ready to endure 6-8 hours of good skiing!

I wore a heart rate monitor one day, why, because I can.  I learned that in 6 hours of skiing, I can burn 1500 calories!  And, surprisingly, my heart rate was in a fairly decent range most of the day!

If you ask yourself every morning, why do I workout?  Why do I get up early and do this?  Well, let one of your answers be to enjoy life to the fullest!  To take your love of fitness outside and enjoy the world.  To be fit and healthy to enjoy that time with your friends and family!

Tomorrow, I plan on getting up early and moving on!  It's time to start phase 2 of Chalean Extreme.  I'm one step closer to my goal.  At least my goal for the moment.  My goals change as my body changes.  I just keep setting a new attainable goal, hit and move on to the next one.

I wish everyone out there would decide to join me!  Make a commitment to change your life one day at a time.  Why, because I know you can!  And, I know you can achieve everything you want!
